- Thick knitted construction – weight 37g, very durable.
- Super absorbent cotton– absorbing 4.5 x its own weight in water!

Dishcloth uses
Use your organic dish cloth, dry, wet or damp.
While wet - washing up, cleaning surfaces such as counter tops and appliances and other surfaces around the house such as the coffee table.
While damp - to wipe surfaces nearly dry, mopping up spills, to wipe hands and face after eating (very useful for babies and young children), to warm or cool the skin, for washing the face in place of a flannel, for pet care.
While dry – to sweep crumbs, excess flour, as a napkin, to serve food such as warm bread rolls, to cover food, to include with food related gifts, or to wrap small gifts including cosmetics.
In combination with a Scrubby – sometimes I find myself with both the dishcloth and a scrubby in the same hand so I can instantly switch between scrubbing and washing / wiping functions – eco speed cleaning!
Care Instructions
Machine washable – use 30°C, 40°C or even 60°C. All our washing trials have been done using soapnuts and in these conditions we have found the dyes used are colour fast. We would advise you not to use bleach which will damage to dyes and weaken the cloth, and not to use fabric conditioner, which can reduce the absorbency of these dishcloths. Please see our soapnut page for natural laundry. Despite their water absorbency, these dish cloths dry quickly on the washing line and they can also be tumble dried.
