How is the rose argan lip balm made?

Our lip balm is created by using a time honoured process. Thousands of rose petals are added to glass jars of organic argan oil. These are placed on the roof terrace for about 6 weeks and exposed to the intense Moroccan sunshine. Once the maximum vibrancy is achieved, the ‘macerated oil’ is filtered and combined with soothing beeswax and gum acacia. The result? A light, fine textured lip balm with the energy and aroma of rose.

The ingredients are designed to nourish and hydrate the layers of skin on the lips, to give instant relief to sore lips and to provide long lasting protection with anti-aging benefits.

How to use the rose argan lip balm

• You can just apply the lip balm straight onto the lips. A small amount goes a long way.

However to get the absolute best results, with less frequent applications, using less lip balm, try our Natural Spa Supplies method to clean and prepare the lips first.

• Clean the lips with one of our one inch silk fina sponges and a spray of our pure organic rose water. Together the rose water and specially textured sponge quickly and painlessly remove any dry or dead skin from the lips.
  Dry, flaking skin can not be moisturised – But it is vital to remove it in our gentle way so that you don’t harm the underlying emergent new skin and cause inflammation and peeling. If you can manage to clean the lips twice a day before applying the argan lip balm, you will always have comfortable and perfect looking lips.
• Finish by applying a thin slick of lip balm.
• Rub any excess into the nails and cuticles. It can also be used on patches of dry skin, such as elbows, heels and ears.
