Argan Oil Lip Balm
Argan Lip Balm is an exceptionally soothing and luxurious lip balm made according to the most simple recipe by a Moroccan villager. Concocted just from the finest Virgin Argan oil (lots of it), beeswax and gum acacia nothing else is added because nothing else is needed. The highest quality ingredients are sourced direct from small Argan and honey producers from the foothills of the Moroccan Atlas mountains and the gum acacia, by virtue of an ancient trade route, the legendary city of Timbuktu.
How to apply Argan Lip Balm
Using the finger rub Argan lip balm in a circular motion following the contour of the lips. Then change the direction of motion to assure the optimum penetration. If the lips are exceptionally dry, apply a second coat as soon as the first application been absorbed. Only a tiny amount of this balm is need to soften and smooth the lips.
It is usually fine to apply Argan Lip Balm on top of lipstick.
Remember to cleanse the lips at least twice a day with a gentle floral water. Rose water is particularly good for cleaning the lips, especially to remove food staining. Really dry lips benefit from a gentle exfoliation – using a tiny silk fina sponge. Just spray the Rose Water on the lips and rub with the sponge until the lips feel perfectly smooth. Argania Spinosa L., cera alba, Senegal acacia.
Or in other words, virgin cold pressed Argan Oil, beeswax, and gum acacia. These ingredients are all ‘in a manner of speaking’ edible and form the most basic lip balm possible. This lip balm is packed in glass jars and contains either 5g of lip balm or 12g. Only the tiniest amount is needed at any one time.

Beeswax forms the cells (the honey comb) in which honey and pollen is stored and also in which the queen bee lays eggs. The worker bees extract beeswax after consuming honey. Beeswax is anti-bacterial and antiseptic. Beeswax has wonderful emollient, softening and soothing properties. Gum Acacia is a resin extruded by the Savannah adapted acacia tree to protect the tree from fungal and microbial infection and loss of sap. The ingredients in this lip balm are really special and represent the most protective and nurturing products of nature.

I love this lip balme. I’d bought some just before Christmas and have only just got to the bottom of the 5g pot now (mid April) and that’s using it most days.
It was a lip saver when I had a cold as it’s the only product that I put on at night and was still on in the morning after breathing through my mouth due to a blocked nose. Brilliant stuff. Also used it to sooth my nose when it was getting chaffed from all the nose blowing.

I don’t usually suffer with dry lips, but the recent cold weather took its toll. I’m not a fan of Vaseline, as I see it being more of a moisture barrier than moisture giver. I have previously ordered the Argan Oil, so when I saw they had a lip care solution, I was sold! Upon receipt of the Rose Water, natural sponge, and Argan Oil Balm, I was pleased to see the improvement on my lips. The Rose water and sponge were great to naturally and gently exfoliate the dead skin from my lips, and the argan oil balm added the moisture I needed! My lips have never felt so smooth! Even better, with using the lip balm morning and night, I have no need for lip balms during the day:-)

It works perfectly. I watched Sally’s great videos, and in one of them she emphasizes the importance of exfoliating the lips. I find that I need to do that before I use this wonderful product, otherwise the skin peels off, which I noticed when using anything on the lips. I use my miswak to exfoliate my lips, or rhassoul clay, and then I put on a very tiny amount of the lip balm on, and my lips are repaired within the hour. Great stuff, only a tiny, tiny bit needed so should last for a while.

I cannot praise this all natural lip balm enough! I have suffered with really dry and chapped lips for years. A great lip balm. Went from chapped lips to smooth lips in one application. Feels really nice on too – not at all thick or ‘jammy’. I am also dabbing a bit on the eczema on the back of my hands which seems to help in this colder weather. A little goes a long way.
