Nappy Rash / Diaper Rash

The purpose of this forum is to educate clay enthusiasts on how to use clay for external healing use. Just ask your question and it will be my pleasure to summarize or quote case studies and methods from a variety of sources, translating the works of the great French naturopaths where necessary. I am hoping also that clay users will also include their own experiences and cures, so that the knowledge of clay use will increase and can be shared among the wider public.

I have found a treatment for Diaper Rash: The instructions are, sprinkle the babies bottom with a mixture of clay, arrowroot and cornstarch as you would powder. If a rash or spots are present apply hydrated clay. Redness should disappear in 1 day, spots and blisters in 2 days. Continue to use the clay in the 'powder form' to prevent future rashes. It comes from the Perry A~ book called Living Clay How to Cure 101 Ailments ... ISBN 1-887879-04-8. I'd highly recommend this book.
